SOC-as-a-Service: All the Benefits of a Security Operations Center Without the High Costs of a DIY Solution

To protect themselves from today’s cyber threats, most enterprises implement a security operations center (SOC) with trained staff and expensive technology—and all the constant training and upgrading that go with it. But SOCs are harder to support for midsize organizations. Because most midsize companies lack the protections that large enterprises have, they are often targeted as lower hanging fruit.1 Once inside, attackers can remain hidden for a longer period because these organizations lack the technology and skills to detect and respond to threats in a timely fashion.
